Skynetics was pleased to present at the 2013 Simulation User’s Conference in Toulouse, France. At this year’s conference Westly Davidson presented the topic of Aircraft Nose Landing Gear Shimmy. The presentation material presented a landing gear model generated in LMS Virtual Lab, a new mathematical formulation specific to the landing gear analysis. Also discussed was the relevant shimmy requirements, and a validation investigation to aircraft shimmy event which caused a nose landing gear collapse.
The two day conference was well attended by 300 people of the aerospace community.
